Brantley & Mary Suzanne Visit Gatlinburg, TN

Mary Suzanne and I enjoyed our visit to Gatlinburg, TN. One of our favorite places to visit was the Deer Farm and Exotic Petting Zoo where we were able to hold baby goats, feed deer up close, and ride a pony. We have a lot of pictures of us feeding the animals. Dozer had fun!

I'm going to miss Blair so much!!! I will try my hardest to get on here and stay in touch. I've been here ever since kindergarten and now I'm going to Murrayville for my last year of elementary. I wish a good year to ALL the teacher's next year.~Calin

Dozer Visits Washington, DC with Jillian and Laurel

We went to DC last week and when we got there we went to Arlington National Cemetery. We walked up to them Tomb of the Unknown Solider and watched the changing of the guard. I learned that the guard paces 21 steps, pauses 21 seconds, then returns. We also saw the Arlington Mansion where Robert E. Lee lived. We also saw the Kennedy graves. Then we left Arlington and rode the metro to Pentagon City where we had lunch. After lunch we went to the Pentagon Memorial where they had a bench for each person who died in 9-11. We rode the metro again to the White House. It was a lot bigger than I thought. Then we walked around the Washington Monument. After a long day of walking we left for Maryland to see our Godmother.

Dozer and Joseph Visit the Aquarium

We had a blast at the aquarium in Fort Fisher. Joseph found two shark's teeth at the fossil hunt. Joseph, Ms. Flore, Addie, and Mrs. Humphrey touched sting rays and they felt velvety soft. Victoria enjoyed seeing Luna, the albino alligator. We had a splash at the aquarium!!!!

Blair Teachers Celebrate with Dozer!

Blair teachers celebrated the end of another wonderful year at Blair watching the sunset at Wrightsville Beach! Dozer went along for the fun!

Marissa - Fun Day!

I'm in 4th grade. My name is Marissa. I'm in Miss Shannon's4th grade class. I think Fun Day was so fun! My mom came with me and I had a great time with my mom, friends and with my teachers. In my class we made hats and drew on them. The hat hadmy name on it but iIdidn't wear it because I was too embarassed. Coach Bishop did a great job!

Isabella at the Pool!

Yesterday I went to the pool with my dad, my sisters and my brother. It was fun because I was able to be in the water 5 feet deep!

Did you know the Blair Bulldog has a name? His name is Dozer! We would like to see Dozer enjoying the summer with you! Read on....
We are excited to share a blog with the Blair students this summer. If your child would like to share on this blog, please do so. Students may write about their vacation, going to the beach, catching a fish, visiting with family, or even sharing an interesting book that's been read during the summer! Just a short comment to let us know what you're doing this summer is great! Our main focus is to keep in touch with the bulldogs! We want to stay connected! Take Dozer with you on vacation! Be sure to take a picture of yourself while you're doing something special with Dozer, the Blair Bulldog, and send to Mrs. Stott to post on the blog. If you don't have one, remember you can print one from the blog. Don't forget to Pack Dozer in your suitcase!

You can also type your story in the "Comments" window and it will be forwarded to Mrs. Stott for approval. You should email pictures to Mrs. Stott at sstott@nhcs.net.
